Nai Disha
Nai Disha is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting the community through educational initiatives. Their work addresses the necessities of children and women from migrant families, and seeks to provide them with opportunities for social mobility through access to a variety of educational facilities. These include an open school program for accelerated learning for women, co-curricular programs for children’s growth beyond school, Balwari pre-primary program for children between the ages of 4-7, and computer classes to inculcate technological literacy! Their philosophy is that everybody, regardless of the circumstances of their birth or social status, should receive access to quality educational opportunities. For this reason, YARN is proud to partner with Nai Disha for our initiatives! You can learn more about them on their website: https://www.naidisha.org/

The Sukhad Foundation
The Sukhad Foundation is a grassroots non-profit organization that works on menstrual hygiene and health issues in India. It focuses on ensuring women in rural and marginalized communities have access to sanitary products, education, and resources. To this end, it conducts three main types of initiatives: awareness workshops, in which Sukhad representatives talk to communities about menstruation and the products available so that women can make informed choices; distribution drives, in which Sukhad hands out sanitary products to communities and community outreach programs, in which Sukhad talks to men and women in communities about why the foundation cares about these issues.
