About

Y.A.R.N. (Young Adult Reading Network) is a social initiative aimed at creating community libraries that feature books by women authors and topics related to gender studies in order to encourage girl students to gain diverse perspectives and find inspiration among strong female characters. To further this aim, a curriculum was created to assist kids in becoming better readers and developing a strong reading habit. The curriculum is divided into seven chapters that cover everything from spotting subtexts to comprehending literary devices. In addition, we have also compiled a series of Young Adult literary book lists concentrating on community-specific issues like women's health, education, and teenage mental health.
